Graphics processing technology has developed a lot in recent years. This evolution created a new branch of computer graphics, called virtual reality. This branch seeks to provide users with greater immersion in a digitalized world. This immersion encompasses both visual and sound, making realistic models necessary for the behavior of light and sound. As the area of light propagation is already well developed, few studies have been carried out focusing on the behavior of sound, consequently, few models have been implemented. In this context, the present work seeks to implement an underwater sound propagation model in the Unity game engine. The implementation made by Ray Tracing should generate satisfactory results for sound sources and static listeners, and cannot be executed in real time due to its processing time. In this way, the project seeks to bring a new tool in Unity for future development of virtual reality games and simulators with more realistic sound behavior in the environment.
